Yorkshire Wedding Photographer - 2024 Highlights

My Favourite Wedding Photos of 2024 – A Year of Fun & Joy in Yorkshire

As a Yorkshire wedding photographer, I have the privilege of capturing some of the most heartfelt and beautiful moments between couples on their special day. 2024 was an incredible year, filled with stunning venues, golden-hour portraits, and real, emotional moments that make wedding photography so rewarding.

In this blog post, I’m sharing a collection of my favourite wedding photos from 2024 – a showcase of love, laughter, and timeless memories. Whether you’re a bride or groom planning your big day, or simply love beautiful wedding photography, I hope these images inspire you.

The Magic of Yorkshire Weddings

Yorkshire is home to some of the most breathtaking wedding venues in the UK. From the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Dales to the historic charm of stately homes, each wedding I’ve photographed this year has had its own unique story to tell. The landscapes, the light, and the warmth of the people make Yorkshire a truly special place to get married.

Golden Hour Romance

There’s nothing quite like a golden-hour portrait session. Some of my favourite images this year were taken just before sunset, when the light casts a soft, warm glow over the newlyweds. Whether it was on the moors, in a grand estate garden, or on a quiet country lane, these moments were pure magic.

Emotional First Looks & Natural Moments

One of the most touching trends I’ve seen this year is the rise of ‘first looks’ – that intimate moment when a couple sees each other before the ceremony. The emotions are real, and capturing those tears of joy has been a highlight of my 2024 wedding season.

Beyond the big moments, I’ve loved capturing the little, unposed shots – the giggles, the proud parents wiping away tears, and the wild dance floor moves. These natural moments are what truly bring a wedding gallery to life.

Yorkshire Wedding Venues That Stole My Heart

This year, I had the chance to photograph weddings at some stunning Yorkshire venues. A few that stood out include:

  • The Sun Pavilion – A breathtaking backdrop for romantic portraits.

  • Middleton Lodge – The perfect mix of elegance and countryside charm.

  • Ponden Mill – A beautiful rustic venue with a brilliant atmosphere.

  • Cockley Woodland – A woodland venue full of character.

Each venue had its own magic, and I can’t wait to return to these beautiful locations in the future!

Looking Ahead to 2025 Weddings

As 2024 comes to a close, I’m already looking forward to what 2025 will bring. If you’re engaged and searching for a Yorkshire wedding photographer who will document your day with a natural and storytelling approach, I’d love to hear from you.
